This print is inspired by embroidery patterns on traditional Eastern European folk costume. These types of patterns were originally hand-embroidered on vests, blouses and shirts, or aprons and skirts and I’ve always been very fascinated by the diversity.
A six-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, carved and printed by hand from a single block, each colour printed individually.
Every print in this edition is unique; slight variations are possible and are the result of the process by which it’s made.

Each print bears its number within the edition and the artist’s signature.
