Once, a Hoya plant hung in the bedroom window, blooming almost non-stop between May and September. The plant’s blossom balls of tiny, waxy, and almost artificial-looking flowers, perfumed the house and lifted my spirits.
The plant is long gone. Only this print serves as a permanent memory.
