Here, in the part of Canada where I live, the first colours of spring are not greens but reds. The red stems of the shrubs that fill the hillside create an illusion of a landscape wrapped in pink.
This print is inspired by that landscape, here in the Kootenays of British Columbia.
A limited-edition reduction linocut, each colour layer carved individually and printed individually, by hand from a single block.
