The inspiration for this print came from the woodland near my home in summer. The Columbia Lily is native to this region and I saw them shining from the foliage along the trail, like gold.
This is a limited-edition reduction linocut, each colour layer carved individually and printed individually, by hand from a single block.
N.B.. Each print in this edition is unique; minor variations are possible and are the result of the process by which it’s made. Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor.
Each print bears the number within the edition and the artist’s signature.
